LOS ANGELES, August 06, 2010 — The Newman Group, a Futurestep Company and leading provider of talent management consulting services today announced the addition of Ed Lomasney as Vice President of Business Development. In his role, Lomasney will coordinate sales efforts and lead in the development and execution of a strategy aimed at continuing the growth of The Newman Group as a leader in its industry. He joins The Newman Group with an extensive background in talent strategy and talent management technology, with more than fourteen years of experience in sales and business development for top technology providers.
Over the last four years, Lomasney managed and led sales training for ADP Pre-Employment Services, creating significant new business over a short timeframe during his tenure. Prior to that, he played a key role in the success of the sales effort for VirtualEdge, helping the company achieve rapid growth leading to its acquisition by ADP. Before VirtualEdge, he contributed as a senior sales executive at Taleo (formerly Recruitsoft) where he achieved consistent revenue growth over a four-year tenure.
