OTTAWA, CAN. / September 28, 2011 — HRSG, Inc., an international provider of competency-based services and software solutions, announced that its i-SkillSuite® software has consistently averaged 50 percent year-over-year growth for the past five years.
Introduced in 2005, i-SkillSuite® helps HR clients manage their competency data by building and maintaining job profiles, which are then used in competency assessments to select the right employees and keep them engaged after the hire through learning and career development.
i-SkillSuite® is one of the only systems remaining on the market that was built organically without acquisition and integration of multiple platforms. Thanks to i-SkillSuite’s® ability to leverage the benefits of competency-based management, more and more clients are integrating the solution with larger talent management software systems such as SuccessFactors, SAP, PeopleSoft and Halogen.
HRSG has added nearly 70 new i-SkillSuite® customers, many of which are large multi-national organizations since the first quarter of FY 2010-2011, asserting the company’s leadership among competency providers. Major new customers include the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), Co-operators Life Insurance, and Abbott Nutrition.
The suite’s ongoing success comes as HRSG prepares to debut its newest i-SkillSuite® release, Version 5.0, in mid-October. i-SkillSuite® 5.0 will feature expanded competency management capabilities, including new technical competencies, complete competency-based job profiles with job responsibilities, attributes and organizational charting.
i-SkillSuite® was developed through the engagement of hundreds of HRSG competency-based projects and competency-based management best practices. The suite has enjoyed particular success with global corporations and public sector customers alike, and their technical competencies in areas of law enforcement, IT and finance are sought after internationally. Certifying bodies are also finding applications for the tool. Organizations like Certified Management Accountants of Ontario have adopted i-SkillSuite® for the competency-assessment portion of their certification requirements.
