Profiles International Chief Science Officer Conducts National Employee Assessment Workshops

Waco, TX. October 18, 2013 – Global employee assessment solutions provider, Profiles International, recently sent their Chief Science Officer, Dr. Scott Hamilton, to Toronto and Baltimore where he conducted three-day workshops on developing and training employees for increased productivity in job performance.

The sessions, attended by executives who consult with human resource professionals from organizations in a variety of industries and countries, focused on working with clients to resolve their difficulties in maximizing employee performance.

Dr. Hamilton also focused on the use of employee assessments in business and individual development. Attendees learned of strategies that combine the results of separate assessments to evaluate behavioral characteristics and professional aptitude. Dr. Hamilton also explained how individual characteristics support the development of specialized managerial and leadership skills.

“Employee assessments are extremely powerful for organizations when they properly utilize the data and reports produced by those assessments,” said Dr. Hamilton. “A well informed user with a valid and reliable product will have a significantly better result than someone who is more casual about it.”

Dr. Hamilton will begin his international workshop sessions starting in the Philippines in December 2013.

Dr. Hamilton holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in counseling and clinical psychology with minors in research. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Test Publishers, of which Profiles was a founding member. He is also a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the Association for Psychological Science (APS), and the International Test Commission (ITC). Dr. Hamilton is, additionally, an associate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
